What is a plasmafilter?
A plasma filter is an air purification technology that does not merely capture odors and pollutants, but breaks them down at the molecular level through chemical reactions.
How is QuantumPlasma different from conventional activated carbon filters?
Activated carbon filters absorb odors and become saturated over time. QuantumPlasma® breaks down odor molecules, ensuring consistent performance.
Does ozone form? Is it safe?
Ozone is generated in a controlled, enclosed process and fully neutralized by an activated carbon stage. No harmful ozone is released into the room. That is certified.
Is QuantumPlasma® safe for human health?
Yes. QuantumPlasma® uses atmospheric cold plasma, designed for safe indoor operation.
Is it effective against bacteria, viruses, and mold?
Yes. Cold plasma and generated radicals help neutralize bacteria, viruses and mold spores.
Which hoods is QuantumPlasma® compatible with?

Is installation difficult?
No. Thanks to plug-and-play design, no complex wiring or renovation is required.

QuantumPlasma® operates almost silently and does not add noticeable noise.
Is it suitable for professional kitchens?
This depends on the air flow rate and the cooking fumes produced, or rather the fat particle content therein, but is not usually the case. QuantumPlasma® offers special solutions for installation in restaurants and professional catering establishments. Please contact us for more

Does the smell disappear completely?
Almost all odours are largely broken down and neutralised, virtually eliminating odour pollution. However, the automatic after-run function of the extractor hood or air purifier should be switched on long enough to allow existing odours to be sucked in from areas further away in the
room and treated by QuantumPlasma®.
Is there a need for maintenance?
QuantumPlasma® systems are nearly maintenance-free. Only regular grease filter cleaning of the cookerhood is recommended.
